Job Description: As an Import Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maximizing efficiency. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including suppliers, freight forwarders, customs officials, and internal departments, to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to import and export activities, including invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
2. Customs Clearance: Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate smooth clearance of imported and exported goods. Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and tariffs to minimize delays and avoid penalties.
3. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation and logistics arrangements for incoming and outgoing shipments, including scheduling pickups, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
4. Supplier and Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues. Negotiate terms and conditions to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
5. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with import and export laws, regulations, and trade agreements, including import/export licenses, trade sanctions, and embargo restrictions. Implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
6. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the import-export process. Develop strategies to mitigate risks related to transportation, security, and regulatory compliance.
7. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping them informed about the status of their shipments. Build strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or coursework in import-export management are desirable.
• Experience: Previous experience in import-export operations, customs clearance, logistics coordination, or related fields is preferred. However, freshers with a strong interest in international trade are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with import-export software systems. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
