Job Description:

As an AC Technician, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring that our clients' HVAC systems are installed, maintained, and repaired efficiently. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Installation and Setup:

• Conducting on-site assessments to determine the optimal location for AC unit installation.
• Installing air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Testing newly installed systems to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety regulations.

Maintenance and Servicing:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Conducting preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of AC units and minimize downtime.

Repairs and Upgrades:

• Responding to service calls from clients to address AC system breakdowns and malfunctions.
• Repairing or replacing defective components, such as compressors, condensers, and thermostats.
• Upgrading existing systems by installing new components or implementing energy-efficient technologies.

Customer Interaction:

• Interacting with clients to understand their cooling needs and preferences.
• Providing professional advice and recommendations on selecting the right AC system for their requirements.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving any concerns or complaints promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintaining accurate records of all service calls, including details of work performed and parts used.
• Generating service reports and invoices for clients, documenting labor and material costs.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate work schedules and prioritize tasks.

Requirements:

For Freshers:

• No prior experience is required; however, a basic understanding of HVAC systems is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training to acquire necessary technical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

For Experienced Candidates:

• Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and blueprints.
• Relevant certification or vocational training in HVAC technology.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable).
