Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within our warehouse facility. Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock discrepancies, and ensure timely replenishment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, pickers, packers, and forklift operators. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance productivity and morale.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline warehouse processes and workflows to maximize operational efficiency and minimize costs. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall performance.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to product quality, storage conditions, or workplace safety.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and operational expenses. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery schedules. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize procurement processes and minimize costs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age, with no upper age limit.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is advantageous but not required for fresher applicants.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
