Job Responsibilities:

1. System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
2. Software Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as needed.
3. Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard systems, data, and networks against unauthorized access, viruses, and other cyber threats.
4. Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime in the event of system failures or emergencies.
5. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with system-related inquiries.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of system configurations, changes, and upgrades for future reference and auditing purposes.
7. Capacity Planning: Monitor system performance and usage trends to anticipate future resource requirements and optimize system scalability.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to coordinate system upgrades, migrations, and other projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in system administration or a related field is preferred but not required for fresher candidates. Experienced candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), networking concepts, server administration, and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
