Job Description: As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. From procurement to distribution, you will oversee every aspect of the supply chain, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain, including sourcing strategies, inventory management, and distribution channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain objectives with overall business goals.
2. Procurement and Vendor Management: Identify reliable suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality materials/products at the best possible prices. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
3. Inventory Management: Develop inventory management strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand. Implement inventory control measures, such as ABC analysis and just-in-time inventory systems, to optimize inventory turnover and reduce stockouts.
4. Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers, optimizing routes and modes of transportation to minimize costs and transit times. Implement efficient warehousing and distribution strategies to streamline operations.
5. Quality Control and Compliance: Establish quality standards for incoming materials/products and implement processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Monitor quality metrics and work with suppliers/vendors to address any quality issues promptly.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, such as supplier delays, transportation bottlenecks, and natural disasters, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Continuously monitor and evaluate supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement.
7. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to help them excel in their roles. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where teamwork and innovation thrive.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
