Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance: Maintain a vigilant watch over assigned areas, monitoring for any suspicious activity, unauthorized entry, or potential threats.
2. Access Control: Enforce entry and exit procedures, ensuring that only authorized individuals gain access to restricted areas.
3. Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both on foot and using security vehicles if necessary, to deter criminal activity and ensure all areas are secure.
4. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established protocols.
5. Report Writing: Accurately document all incidents, disturbances, or unusual occurrences in detailed written reports, ensuring that management is informed of any security-related issues.
6. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to clients, visitors, and employees, offering directions, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns as needed.
7. Alarm Monitoring: Monitor security systems and alarms, promptly investigate any triggers, and take appropriate action by company procedures.
8. Risk Assessment: Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, recommending and implementing proactive measures to mitigate these risks effectively.
9. Conflict Resolution: Utilize conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and maintain a peaceful environment.
10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with fellow security team members, as well as other departments and external stakeholders, to ensure comprehensive security coverage.

Requirements:

• Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 60 years old.
• Gender: Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply, as long as they meet the necessary physical and mental requirements.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods, as well as lifting and carrying objects as needed.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English, along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals.
• Integrity: Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and reliability, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
• Legal Requirements: Must possess any required licenses or certifications, and be eligible to work legally in Chandigarh.
• Experience: While prior experience in security or law enforcement is advantageous, we also welcome applications from individuals with no previous experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a dedication to learning.
