Responsibilities
Visual Storytelling
- Create engaging, concept-driven illustrations that represent a diverse range of ideas and stories.
- Transform written or verbal briefs into clean, professional artwork tailored for digital use.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across projects while adding a unique perspective.
- Contribute to narrative-building efforts by supporting campaigns, landing pages, and product design assets.
Design Production
- Deliver high-quality, scalable vector graphics suitable for a wide range of applications.
- Organize and structure files for smooth hand-off to developers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure accessibility compliance within visual content when applicable.
- Support iterative design based on peer feedback, data-informed revisions, and evolving brand needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with creative directors, copywriters, and UI designers to build harmonious visual experiences.
- Participate in weekly design syncs and asynchronous critiques via Slack or Notion.
- Share drafts, discuss timelines, and propose solutions when challenges arise.
- Adapt workflows to accommodate different team styles, communication preferences, and time zones.
Innovation & Impact
- Explore new tools, techniques, and trends in digital illustration to enhance visual storytelling.
- Offer creative alternatives during ideation and actively push boundaries of what's possible.
- Seek opportunities to integrate inclusive design practices into everyday work.
- Work with user research teams to evaluate how illustrations affect usability and comprehension.

- Understanding of inclusive imagery and representation across cultures and identities
- Mastery of vector tools and file preparation standards
- Clear communication—especially in remote, cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance multiple projects in an asynchronous environment
- Bonus: Familiarity with accessibility design, motion graphics, or UX/UI principles
