Key Responsibilities
Automation and Test Execution
- Design, script, and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Build and manage automated pipelines within CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
Test Strategy and Reporting
- Review test outcomes and provide meaningful analysis to support development improvements.
- Drive API test automation using frameworks like REST Assured or Postman.
Collaborative Quality Engineering
- Engage closely with QA peers, developers, and system engineers to align test automation efforts with sprint goals.
- Track and report test case effectiveness using tools such as Zephyr or TestRail.
Process Optimization
- Introduce framework enhancements and suggest new tools for broader test coverage and reduced manual work.
- Use exploratory testing techniques to identify issues beyond predefined scripts.
