  1. Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.
  2. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and terms. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels to meet operational requirements. Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete inventory and reduce carrying costs.
  4. Purchase Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements. Develop purchase plans and schedules to ensure timely procurement of goods and services while balancing cost and quality considerations.
  5. Budget Management: Prepare and manage procurement budgets in alignment with organizational goals and financial targets. Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and supplier dependencies. Implement risk management strategies to safeguard the continuity of supply and minimize operational disruptions.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing procurement activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and regulatory requirements.
  8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to develop their skills and capabilities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. An advanced degree or professional certification in procurement or supply chain is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management role. Experience in a managerial or leadership position is preferred but not required. Fresher candidates with relevant internships or coursework will also be considered.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
