Job Responsibilities:
As a Plumber with us, you will be responsible for:
- Installation and Maintenance: Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures by applicable codes and standards. This includes pipes, valves, fittings, sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and more.
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identifying issues through inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting techniques. Implementing effective solutions to resolve plumbing problems efficiently and effectively.
- Pipe Work: Cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required specifications. Assembling and installing pipes and fittings using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Fixture Installation: Installing and connecting various fixtures, including faucets, showers, bathtubs, and appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines.
- Maintenance Checks: Conducting routine maintenance checks to ensure the integrity and functionality of plumbing systems. Performing preventative maintenance tasks to prevent future issues.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times. Adhering to established procedures and protocols to maintain quality and safety.
- Customer Interaction: Interacting with clients professionally and courteously. Providing guidance, advice, and recommendations on plumbing solutions and maintenance practices.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing techniques, tools, and equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Capacity to diagnose plumbing issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in installation and repair work.
- Physical Stamina: Good physical condition with the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in plumbing is preferred but not required for experienced candidates.
- Experience: While experience is preferred, we welcome both freshers and experienced individuals to apply. Training will be provided to freshers to help develop their skills and knowledge.
