Key Responsibilities

Custom Illustration Work

• Design custom tattoo illustrations for a diverse range of client requests, maintaining high quality and style consistency across projects.
• Work directly with clients to uncover the inspirations behind their ideas, symbolism, and preferences, translating them into powerful visual designs.

Technical Design Execution

• Create scalable vector or high-resolution raster art suitable for print and stencil transfer by professional tattoo artists.
• Ensure all deliverables meet industry standards in terms of file format, resolution, and usability for both black and white and colored ink.

Creative Development

• Iterate on client feedback with professionalism and creativity while preserving the integrity of your design vision.
• Build thematic collections and flash sets based on seasonal trends, cultural motifs, or popular demand.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, providing maximum flexibility to work from the comfort of your home, art studio, or while traveling. Creative Tools and Workflow

To thrive in this position, you’ll need mastery over digital illustration tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, or Clip Studio Paint. Familiarity with Wacom tablets or iPads is encouraged, and cloud-based platforms such as Google Drive or Trello are used for file management and task tracking. Artistic freedom is prioritized, but you'll need to balance that with efficiency and attention to technical details like stencil readability and anatomical placement. Templates, guidelines, and references are provided as required, but your original style and approach are always welcome.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a tattoo illustrator, digital designer, or freelance artist creating custom artwork
• Strong portfolio showcasing original tattoo designs in various styles, including realism, traditional, geometric, minimalist, or neo-traditional

Core Competencies

• Proven ability to handle multiple commissions simultaneously while meeting deadlines without sacrificing creativity or precision
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting feedback and articulating design choices clearly and confidently
• A deep understanding of tattoo placement and how designs flow with the human form is crucial.
