Key Responsibilities of the Role

Core Development Duties

  • Develop SCORM-compliant e-learning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Rise.
  • Convert classroom-based content into digital formats while preserving instructional integrity and enhancing learner retention.
  • Create interactive templates and reusable design systems to accelerate course development.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop visual and interactive learning materials that align with organizational goals.
  • Translate abstract instructional concepts into concrete digital content with storytelling, gamification, and learner-centric scenarios.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure accessibility compliance following WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 standards.
  • Conduct thorough QA testing, address learner feedback, and implement improvements through iterative development.
  • Maintain consistent branding and instructional quality across all learning assets.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience and Expertise

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital learning development, instructional design, or multimedia production
  • Deep familiarity with SCORM packaging, xAPI, and Learning Management System (LMS) integration
  • Demonstrated success designing accessible, visually compelling, and pedagogically sound e-learning modules
