Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets to organize and track financial data efficiently.
2. Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Generate insightful reports and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering relevant data, performing analysis, and collaborating with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
4. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and timely. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to mitigate risks and optimize tax strategies.
5. Auditing: Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, conducting internal audits as required, and addressing audit findings promptly and effectively.
6. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Present financial reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
7. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow activities, including cash receipts, disbursements, and investments. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize cash flow efficiency.
8. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud or misappropriation of funds.
9. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to achieve organizational objectives and drive financial performance.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or CA certification is preferred but not required for fresher candidates.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred for experienced candidates. However, fresher candidates with strong academic backgrounds and willingness to learn will also be considered.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with financial analysis tools and techniques.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record keeping and analysis.
• Ethical Standards: Commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity in financial practices.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
