Job Description: As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our logistics operations. From coordinating transportation schedules to optimizing supply chain processes, you will be involved in various aspects of the logistics workflow. Key Responsibilities:

1. Transportation Coordination: Coordinate the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely pickup and delivery to designated locations. Communicate effectively with drivers and transportation partners to facilitate smooth operations.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements to prevent shortages or excesses. Implement inventory control measures to optimize storage space and minimize losses.
3. Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, such as route optimization, warehouse layout redesign, or vendor consolidation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
4. Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding transportation, safety, and quality standards.
5. Customer Service: Liaise with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on shipment status. Strive to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations at every interaction.
6. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address logistical challenges, such as delays, damages, or capacity constraints. Implement contingency plans and workarounds to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
7. Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data, such as transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels, to identify trends and patterns. Use insights to inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. However, candidates with relevant experience or vocational training will also be considered.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply, as we provide comprehensive training to onboard new talent. Experienced professionals with prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management are encouraged to apply as well.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with logistics software systems is desirable.
