E-Learning Specialist

1. Design and Development:
   • Develop and design e-learning content and courses that align with instructional design principles and meet learning objectives.
   • Create interactive and engaging multimedia content, including videos, simulations, quizzes, and other digital assets.
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and analyze content requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance.
2. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
   • Manage and maintain the LMS, ensuring smooth operation, user access, and course deployment.
   • Monitor and report on LMS performance, including user engagement, course completion rates, and feedback.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS and e-learning content.
3. Instructional Design:
   • Apply instructional design methodologies to create compelling and learner-centric e-learning experiences.
   • Conduct needs assessments and learning analyses to determine training requirements and design appropriate solutions.
   • Utilize data-driven insights to improve course design and learner outcomes continuously.
4. Project Management:
   • Lead and manage e-learning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
   • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
   • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
5. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct thorough reviews and testing of e-learning courses to ensure functionality, usability, and accessibility.
   • Gather and analyze learner feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements.
   • Ensure that all e-learning content adheres to established standards and best practices.
6. Training and Support:
   • Provide training and support to users on accessing and utilizing e-learning resources effectively.
   • Create and maintain user guides, help documentation, and FAQs to assist learners and administrators.
   • Offer ongoing support to resolve any issues and ensure a positive learning experience.
7. Research and Innovation:
   • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and e-learning and instructional design best practices.
   • Explore and recommend new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance e-learning offerings.
   • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of e-learning practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in e-learning design, development, and implementation.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning best practices.
• Experience with multimedia production, including video editing and graphic design.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality e-learning solutions.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles is a plus.
