Key Responsibilities
User Research & Analysis
- Conduct a variety of research techniques, including moderated and unmoderated user testing, contextual inquiries, surveys, and usability benchmarking.
- Utilize behavior analytics tools, such as Hotjar or Crazy Egg, to track engagement and pinpoint conversion obstacles.
- Analyze user journey maps and refine them based on real-world interactions and qualitative feedback.
- Create data-driven personas and empathy maps to align product strategy with authentic user needs.
Design Strategy Integration
- Partner closely with UX designers and frontend developers to apply user insights to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Integrate iterative feedback loops into sprint cycles to ensure that changes reflect both usability findings and stakeholder goals.
- Support design decisions with defensible logic rooted in user data, accessibility standards, and platform-specific guidelines.
Data-Driven UX Optimization
- Leverage quantitative insights from platforms like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to correlate user behavior with performance metrics.
- Run remote A/B testing using platforms like Optimizely or VWO to validate hypotheses and optimize user flows.
- Maintain a repository of case studies and documented experiments to enable a culture of learning and optimization.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Translate research findings into business-relevant language for stakeholders across marketing, product, and engineering teams.
- Facilitate collaborative workshops, including journey mapping and ideation sessions, to align cross-functional teams around user challenges.
- Prepare structured research reports, presentation decks, and interactive dashboards to communicate the findings and their impact effectively.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX Researcher, Usability Analyst, or Product Researcher in a remote or distributed team
- Degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, or a related technical or behavioral discipline
- Demonstrated track record of influencing product decisions through data-backed research

- Expertise in both formative and evaluative user research methods
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 and inclusive design principles
- Strong understanding of mobile-first design, responsive frameworks, and platform-specific UX patterns
- Exceptional ability to turn data into stories that inform product vision and tactical decisions
- Fluency with creating and presenting actionable research briefs, usability reports, and strategic insights
