Job Description:

1. Dispensing Medications:

• Accurately interpreting prescriptions and dispensing medications by regulatory guidelines.

2. Medication Management:

• Maintaining proper inventory levels of medications and other pharmaceutical supplies.
• Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring the safe disposal of expired or unusable medications.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.

3. Patient Care:

• Providing personalized patient care by addressing inquiries, concerns, and medication-related issues.
• Conducting medication therapy management reviews to identify and resolve drug-related problems.
• Promoting health and wellness through patient education on medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.

4. Compliance and Documentation:

• Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Maintaining accurate records of prescription orders, dispensing activities, and patient interactions.
• Participating in quality assurance initiatives to uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

5. Collaborative Teamwork:

• Collaborating with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Actively participating in professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

For Freshers:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for learning and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

For Experienced Candidates:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in medication dispensing, counseling, and patient education.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
