Job Description:

As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by our customers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Dispensing Medications: Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescription medications to customers, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
2. Patient Counseling: Providing comprehensive medication counseling to customers, including information on dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions. Addressing any concerns or questions raised by customers regarding their medications.
3. Medication Management: Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes for patients. Monitoring medication adherence and recommending interventions as necessary.
4. Inventory Management: Maintaining proper inventory levels of medications and related supplies. Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring the proper storage of medications according to manufacturer guidelines.
5. Compounding Medications: Compounding specialized medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, adhering to sterile compounding protocols and safety standards.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the dispensing process. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations governing the practice of pharmacy. Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws, policies, and procedures at all times.
8. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for every customer. Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Valid pharmacist license issued by the State Pharmacy Council.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor toward patients and customers.
• Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and software.
