Job Description:

As a Medical Coder, your primary responsibility will be to accurately assign medical codes to healthcare providers' diagnoses, procedures, and services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare providers receive proper reimbursement for their services while complying with coding guidelines and regulations. Your duties will include:

  1. Reviewing and analyzing medical records, including patient charts and documentation, to assign appropriate medical codes accurately.

  3. Adhering to coding conventions and guidelines established by regulatory authorities, including ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II.

  5. Staying abreast of updates and changes to coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
  6. Maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information by HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

    • No prior experience is required; however, completing a certified medical coding training program is preferred.
